A series of 6 images from our holiday on Cape Cod in May. The Tree Swallow (Tachycineta bicolor) is common, nesting in boxes and tree cavities, in open fields or over water. These nesting boxes were situated in the marshes near the Harwich Natural History Museum, Cape Cod.
I was a long way away so the detail isn't as good as I would wish, but I just felt that I was lucky to get these captures and wanted to share them with you. I feel that Mrs Tree Swallow is not looking too excited by the proceedings! - lol
