The Mawddach Estuary is where the River Mawddach (Afon Mawddach in Welsh) meets the sea and forms a stunning wide sandy estuary. At the mouth of the Estuary is the town of Barmouth and 8 mile inland is the town of Dolgellau which is connected to the coast by the Mawddach Trail. The trail runs from Dolgellau to Morfa Mawddach, at the south side of the Barmouth railway bridge.

A very beautiful scene. I like the fishing boat high and dry on the sands.

Quite a pleasing scene with beautiful evening light. I like how the watchtower(?) counter balances the stranded boat giving balance to the picture.

Beautifully composed and beautifully photographed what I love about this image is the colour tones
The Dark moody sky which jousts with hills then dropping to the bridge and the estuary.
