May Miscellany

By LynneJoyce
A collection of May images some of which show the downpours we have been enduring.

I took the background image of rain on the river in the opening montage with he express intention of mounting other images on it. The other images evidence my fascination with the sequence of wild plants that appear as the year progresses. I put in a picture of the boys enjoying the river, just for fun.

This year has been weird though. We still have Bluebells and the Horse Chestnuts are starting to flower. Never before have I seen them blooming at the same time. Climate change indeed.

Thank you for viewing and I hope that you enjoy at east some of these images.

Thanks for adding the wildflower names, Lynne, and for showing this fine selection. It took me back to my years in the New Forest when I found and photographed over 350 different wild flowers, some of which you have here.
Excellent presentation of a lovely set of flowers

Certainly beautiful images Lynne and you take wildflowers so well in their natural environment. Each one a separate and perfect image! Love the lads at the end. We have Border Terrorists not Collies! Where would we be without our dogs? Smile
