McLaren MP 4 - 128

By morpheus1955
Continuing my visit to Beaulieu on Sunday, this is a McLaren MP4 - 128, well I think it is the 128 my memory isn't what it used to be :-( So if I have the 128 bit wrong I apologize. Anyway this car is actually on a plinth hanging from the ceiling at the museum along with a couple of other race cars, fortunately their is a walk way along side so you can get a really good view of it Smile Me being me I decided to select a section and photograph that Smile I realize it won't be to everyone's taste, but here it is for your consideration Smile

Thank you all so much for all your C&C's very much appreciated

Thanks for taking the time to look

You make a car into an abstract form of art nothing wrong with that like it a lot, well done, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Not being really au fait with the structure of these machines I haven't a clue which bit I'm looking at, Hugh, but that does not take away from one's appreciation of the image.
As Carole says, it screams power and also big money.

This is my sort of car shot, abstract and dynamic. That colour sings out against the greys!
(Oh but I can recognise which bit I'm looking at!)

Much prefer these closer/abstract views, Hugh. The red and grey works particularly well here.

Great comp and colours. I remember visiting a pub in Jesmond, Newcastle which had a racing car attached to the ceiling. Rather a worrying situation!!

I agree with Lillian - I've no idea which part of the car this is, but whichever bit, it looks amazing! Love those reds and greys and all the different sections welded together. It makes a fine abstract - with a little advertising thrown in for good measure! Smile

I ended up doing much the same at Beaulieu, Hugh, and I think this is extremely effective. What I like is the fact that they change things quite a lot, which encourages people to come back again.
