Meadow Brown

By Norfolkboy
Good afternoon folks,
Today an image of probably our most widespread butterfly in the UK.
Normally these would have been on the wing for at least a couple of weeks
by now, but like everything this year they are late.
The last few days has seen an explosion of these and Ringlets in Norfolk.
Hope this does a bit better than the Azure damsel yesterday.Sad
Many thanks to the C&C's on that one.
Colin

You're not kidding - the Scabia in my garden is covered in them!!! This is a gorgeous image, showing the colours and details brilliantly.

Nice capture again Colin, I have real trouble with these beggars, being the old cripple I am, I just can't get down low and quick for the little swines...Sad

A fine shot Colin, they are not easy to snap as i've found on numerous occasions. Although I did nail one at Swelshill Bank in Stroud yesterday morning
