Stunning image, love the fact you have Trekpete in the shot too, it makes a great focal point following a fantastic lead in

Lovely shot along the crest of the ridge and the figure gives a sense of scale. Nice sharp detail and texture.
Ronnie.
The narrow track leads the eye along the ridge and there we find Peter up near the clouds where he loves to be most. Grand view and a grand walk Richie, well done.

A stunning scene, nicely exposed for the snow, though I think maybe a tiny bit flat - a tweak of levels or curves would just boost the shadowsa bit. As for the comp,I'm all for breaking "rules", and it's obvioulosy tepmting to try and get everything in, but I think this is a case where the good old rule of thirds would imrove it. While the expanse of snow on the left of the shot is stunning, it distracts the eye from its natural flow through the pic, up the very strong lead-in of the path to the figure at the apex.

I've done a quick mod to show a simple crop which puts the figure on a strong third and removes much of the snowy bank, while leaving enough behind to retain the interest. Just did a wee curve to boost contrast as well

Just my thoughts, nice work either way

Wow Richie - this is superb. That inversion on the right of the image must have been great to see.

Tooths mod is good but I must say that I prefer your original - and Pete gets everywhere doesn't he.......

Take care up there - I'll be up there again in March in the Glencoe area (staying in Onich again).

Rich
