Meeting of rivers

By AngelaR
The meeting point of the Dordogne and Vezere rivers at Limeuil, Perigord. After heavy rain at the end of last week the colour difference in the two rivers was striking. The split continues for several miles downstream before the brown Vezere water takes the monopoly.

The gardens above are in the grounds of the ruined Chateau of Limeuil and the water garden (complete with waterfall) has been completed in the last year. A wonderful viewpoint.

Comments and crits welcome.

Beautifully captured, Angela.
It containes all for a good looking picture.
But on my TFT lcd monitor, a bit on the light side. Think you got a CRT?
Its a problem, many monitors are set different.

Jan thank you for the mod. I think I left this more or less as taken.
I have a flat screen and it looks ok here. However, it was a pretty grey and wild day with heavy showers and some brief sunny intervals - and as you can see there was no sun at that moment, so perhaps that's the answer.

Thanks Fred. Cutting out the water garden probably does match the title better!
However, I did intend to show the full view, so perhaps I should have called it 'Three Waters' instead!! I just felt that the top section on its own was a little bland.
