A great set with your lead being my particular favourite. Great point of view and composition. My only thought might have been to slow the shutter speed down slightly to get a little blur in the hands and sticks. "Just a thought"

I do a lot of live gig photography, and it is always a problem getting decent images of the drummer - they tuck him away at the back of the stage and he's hidden behind all the drum kit!

I love a good drum solo--probably would not mind living 2 doors down!

Once upon a time, a long time ago, when the animals could speak... I managed to fall with my drumstool of the back of my drumstage, I did not get hurt but my fellow musicians wondered why I stopped playing halfway the song... the drumkit was in dimm and smokey light... haha!Tongue + Blush

My music-shed has good isolation, that's how I prefer it. My dear friend enjoys playing in his attic with the windows open - I can actually hear him playing in my shed with the door closed (when I 'm not drumming btw)Tongue

Thank you Nathan, I understand what you mean, that moment I was in a hurry as I just ran up three flights of stairs halfway the one song they where playing... me out of breath and nearly having a hart attack, specially when I suddenly realised I had to be on stage 2 min. later and I had to get my drumsticks two stairs up and then all the way down - LOL when I ran like a maniac down the stairs towards the stairs... to switch my camera for a pair of sticks Wink

I just had a quick look if I could find some of his drumming on the web - he's not bad at all, full of positive energy!
Superb set of images, judging by your adventures photographing horses is a pure doddle.
