Memorial to all those who worked in EOD

Another from the National Arboretum, this Memorial is to all those who worked in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) having worked in this area for 9 years of my army career it is a special memorial to me.

Many thanks for all the votes, comments and awards for my last entry they are very much appreciated

A very poignant memorial for very brave folk.
But what was the purpose made baggy pyjama outfit, and helmet going to do when 10000lb of explosive erupts in your face? Not much left of anything at that point.
Thanks for posting an image of a subject most of us probably prefer not to know about.

When I was operating and wearing this suit I was informed that it was only to keep the body parts together!!
