Yesterday was one of the first images that I took on the trip and this is some of the last. I do know that it has nothing special in them. Returning back from Lofoten did I take the detour to the little village where I was born.
The dam, at least it was used as a dam many years ago when I spent the summers up there fishing in the little creek downstream the dam that has lost itīs function

Memories everywhere and everything always looks smaller than you thought they were Peter. The sky in V3 is something to sit and look at as you wander down memory lane.

V1 for the magical colours in the water surface. These are the sort of shots that we take of places we know and love - no need for dramatic skies or foreground rocks, just quiet intimacy. Thanks for sharing your memories.

Thank you for kind comments, it was just a thing I had to do when I had the opportunity. It must have been more than thirty years ago since my previous visit there, it is about 685 km from where I live

Fab shots Peter, like the last one the best actually. The shed has a sort of secret about it. helen x

It is the best picture but no 1 is most emotional for me, since it stans for all childhood memories. The shed in no4 did not have steel roof when we where there back in the sixties
