We stopped to have our lunch at Chanonry point in the Moray Firth to the north of Inverness. It was a lovely day but a bit of breeze had us ducking down behind the sea wall that guards the lighthouse. There were some picnic tables a little further on and my eye was drawn to a gull that was keeping an eye on the people eating their sandwiches. As he gradually crept closer the lady spotted him and seemed unable to overcome the suspicion that he had designs on her food. I think her concern comes over in the picture.

Best wishes

Nice candid shot. Like the contact between the gull and the woman. Click

There does seem to be the air of a confrontation in the making.
A nice simple shot with clean lines.

Excellent shot full of humour. That's a very shifty looking gull, you can definately sense the woman's growing concern!
