Mermaid Street, Rye

A bit more digital fiddling! I've uploaded 2 or 3 images like this before, created on the iPad using an app called Brushstroke which is excellent for converting digital images into 'artwork'. As with the PhotoSpiralysis effect in my previous upload, 'Many Legs of Man', there are many variations which you can create, from abstract to oil painting effects.
This is taken from near the top of Mermaid Street in the lovely quaint town of Rye in Sussex, looking down the hill, and thought it suited an 'arty' conversion. Again, I've included the original image as the version.

Raw image processed in Adobe Camera Raw, tweaked in Brushstroke app and Photoshop Elements 2020.

I have to say I prefer the version over the lead, Trev. For my taste, it is overdone. Although, I'll give you this, it is good to try out all the possibilities we have before us today...

The conversion really suits the subject Trev, unfortunately Brushstroke doesn't work on my iMac Sad
Two lovely scenes, and the original is better for the flat soft light.

It is great fun, a good diversion from this closed in time. I do prefer the original in this case, but I like the effect also.

This is a really good scene Trev. I like the leaning house and the faint background with the trees on the horizon. I think your processing in the original - which I personally prefer - is top notch as usual. Smile
