Excellent effort!!! Something I've seen many times but not round to trying
Just maybe need to tidy the sharp edge on the shadow
But that said it works really well, the thumbnail really urges you to look closer

Thanks again everyone - I'm all set up to do some more with the stockings later today. However I've been gardening all morning so am lacking a certain elegance at the moment 
Housework is way over-rated - I've just spent 10 minutes looking for some packs of those gel crystals that you add water to for bulbs that I've obviously put away safely - not a clue where the blasted things are......
