Metropolis of Mystras (St Demetrius)

A photo-journalistic/travelogue style compilation of shots from the courtyard of the Metropolis and the church of St. Demetrius at the ancient city of Mystras, Greece, near current day Sparta.

For transparency, The cover image is an improved version of one I uploaded before, as is version 1, but I wanted to keep them together for photo journalistic purposes.

Wonderful place - can recommend it highly. The frescoes and the setting are beautiful.
