Millenium Square, Leeds

An unconventional view of the civic hall I think oyu could say, but I've done the classic view, posted it, watched it bomb on EPZ and then made good money from it (started a thread about the EPZ Curse... that was one of the many shots that bombed and sold).

Anway - this is the view from the soon-to-be-museum of Leeds looking past the toilets (big rugby ball thing) via a merry go round to the towers of the civic hall .

It's more of a documentary shot than a strict archtectural shot really. As in, this is what Leeds looks like in the winter sunshine. Stuff going on rather than the perfect view of the place.

Yes this is a nice good clean shot. Your story reminds me of when I used to do a bit of freelancing and people would ask did I get my name along side the picture. My reply was that I always preferred it on the Cheque.

What a wierd place Leeds must be. It's got every style of architecture imaginable. Good record shot.

it's not a bad city, not as exciting as Manchester, not got the grandure of Newcastle's Grey Street, but some decent bits

just takes a bit of time to look for the shots Smile
