Some great expressions captured here, Colin. A very photogenic and memorable face. The mono images stand out for me.

Yeah but it's all about lighting, pose and expressions in those excellent shots.Smile

The download image is a totally different colour to the posted image Colin, much warmer. I mentioned this on another image some time ago and I think John (Dudler) said he thought it was the colour profile of the upload. As the photographs are of an actress, I presume she wants accurate rather than highly processed images, but I'll have a go Smile

Thanks Norm
Yes I'm aware that some images which look perfect on my Apple Mac, look much duller on other devices
It was a while ago and Miranda was delighted with the original photo files
I believe it is the way I had been saving images ... not using sRGB when I should have
I must try and get into the habit for future shots
Thanks
Colin

I've added a second mod Colin and I'm on windows, but use a SpyderPro colour calibrator and the two mods I did look very different on my screen than uploaded. Very odd. (My daughter and son both have Macs, but I refuse to pay the cache for the extra memory and storage.)
Another lovely set by the way and I'm not surprised she was pleased with them. I'm surprised we haven't seen her on Portrait artist of the year.

Thanks Norm - both nice mods

Glad to hear that, like my wife and I, you are into Portrait Artist of the Year

Are you watching the Sunday morning live 4 hour Portrait Artist of the week on Facebook SkyArts? One of their previous winners paints a portrait of a celebrity live ... both at their respective homes
Members of the public are encouraged to submit their versions by the following Friday and the top 3 winners announced the following Sunday. My wife is about to submit her second attempt today
They get an average of 2,000 submissions per week from around the world
A great way to escape reality for 4 hours!

Thanks Jim

Not sure "patient" is the right word ... but it was quite a long session ... she wanted changes of clothes and hair-dos

And at the end I wanted to experiment with the black and white ones and Miranda was more than happy to stay and do that

I suppose it also helps that she's the wife of a friend of ours Grin

Al the best

Nice set. Unfortunately the colour is not great as these are all ProPhoto RGB rather than sRGB. The have a rather yellow appearance. Ive used the lead image to convert to sRGB and left some comments on the upload.
