Mirrie Dancers in Fetlar

By MHenderson
A stunning night on the Island of Fetlar in Shetland. I was sat out in the hill overlooking the Wick of Tresta, a brilliant display of the Aurora Borealis. Nights like this make the thought of a long dark winter, not so bad Smile

The Aurora was bright enough that you could walk along the beach and it didn't really feel dark.

Love to have been up there for it... Was at Glencoe for a very impressive show last week, even with some cloud cover Smile

Very nice! I love the way the aurora shines through the cloud gaps.
