Has to be b&w, colour diverts attention away from the face. And colour is far too cheerful, even ironically.

as a Fellow Piano Accordion Player I can sympathise with the expression -- I am accused of 'pulling faces' but it just the concentration of hgetting the right notes !

A wonderfully characterful face you've captured here Bernie. Bet he has some tales to tell. Think it has to be mono for me today. Wonder why he has a glove on his left hand only? Touch of arthritus perhaps, keeping it warm! Super portrait.

I would have thought that a street musician needs to communicate in some way with passing people, and a smile will often do the trick for me, so what a shame he looks so grumpy. There is something a little feminine about his face, don't you think?

A face of character though. For once I reckon the mono, though I do like both.

Pretty solid vote for the mono Bernie, but I'm not so sure and, for me, many give it for the wrong reason!
