Misty Milk

By annettep38
You have spoiled me thoroughly this week with awards and votes and comments. Special thanks to Al, Mathew,Adrian, Christine, Jenn and Jan for the UAs regarding the orange tip.

Still haven't done my homework for my photo course. Big sky he said with something interesting in it! Which unfortunately does not mean birds, knowing full well that I'm not good at landscapes.. . So here is an attempt at what I'm struggling with.
Today's upload is from Wednesday morning , it is the dairy farm where I get milk. I took it because the mist and light were very nice. This is how I saw it, only levelled and contrast a bit lowered, no tweaks.
I will try to upload a tweak later if my internet has it. Personally, I prefer straight.

PLEASE do not hesitate to criticize, I want you to. So if somebody like Alun or Andy would tell me what to improve i'd be thrilled.

Can't decide, both are brilliant and most appealing. It is the light and the fog me thinks,

Thanks for your we giftie!

Think V1 has more atmosphere Annette.
Good lead in and lovely morning light.

Hmmm -- I like them both. They are wonderfully atmospheric images. I think I'm leaning toward V2, if I had to pick on over the other.

V1 for me, without a doubt. There's a gentle warmth to the light in it and the mist adds real glamour to this rural scene.

There's a bit more mystery to V1, Annette, which is why that appeals more to me.

The lie of the land gives an impression of the horizon being lower on the rhs. Would a teeny-weeny tilt make it appear more level without making the path appear slanted?

V1 has the edge for me, a misty morning when one can expect to see wraiths and ghosties.

V2 for me Annette bit more detail and contrasts in the cloud...I tonemapped V1 and it comes out very well
