Misty Mountain Hop

By MrsS
Hi All! Hope you are well and didn't miss me too much! Smile

Just got back from four fabulous days in Scotland with the Team, where our patience eventually paid off. Big thanks to Dave and Wilma for the organisation and the welcome, as always, and to MrWaggie for a super curry last night.

We popped in to Killin on the way to Pitlochry and then wrote off sunrise and much of the rest of Friday, due to the weather forecast, which was pretty accurate for once. We did enjoy some stunning scenery and light from the cars, though! Grin

Anyway, we had a great sunrise on Saturday, followed by an even better sunset, (more of that later), but I thought I'd start you off with one from this morning Smile

Thanks for looking, hope you like the mist as much as we did, the boat and the Crannog can be made bigger by going LARGE!! Wink

Have a great evening - hope to start catching up tomorrow Smile

Oh, and Roy, thanks ever so much for staying in bed! Wink

There certainly does appear to be some fantastic locations in Scotland for photography Smile

Tranquillity, this is what comes across to me and I could easily sit there for ages watching the world go by.

Personally I find the boat a distraction and would crop it out but, this is what you saw and is really nice.

We spent ages here, Jeff, just watching the mist roll in and out, it was fabulous!! Smile

I decided that the boat added a touch of interest, but watch this space, there are plenty without it to come Wink

Good to contrast these morning shots with the evening before as it is difficult to believe it is the same body of water that was so choppy the night before. Shame we did not get more colour, but a special morning all the same as this shot shows.
