I like the contrast between the angular (and, actually, rather elegant) micrometer and the warm background. The micrometer itself needs to be sharper, though — maybe you forgot to sharpen after resizing for upload?

Thanks David for your honesty, but with even a small amount of sharpening it looked odd, maybe I should have just selected the dial because that does look a tad soft now you have mentioned it.
