And there was me thinking it was the ski jump slope...
Nicely dynamic, all about looking upwards. (Flip horizontally and it would be about sliding downward).

bold angle and excellent graphics in your shot and may i suggest it echoes the Le Corbusier's Ronchamp chapel in general outline, especially when looking at the link you provided

My feelings too, initially. Second thoughts, on remembering looking down from an Olympic ski jump, was that the scale is more likely that of the take-off ramp devised for aircraft carriers to extend the range of VSTOL and VTOL aircraft. As these were soon nicknamed 'ski jumps' it would appear that both herself and I were, smugly, correct!
Excellent image, Malc. I like the way the apex almost disappears into thin air.

That gives me ideas...will therefore return to the scene of the crime and gather new evidence.

It is indeed very reminiscent of the Holmenkollen ski jump in Oslo, Bill - at least when seen from this angle.

An excellent architectural photo, and the high key touch certainly adds to the clean lines of this image.

An excellent graphic black and white with strong shapes.
I struggled to find the part of the church you took this from, so googled and now see it; the windows at the top showed me that it's the very top of the curve.

Would make a good mini ski slope! Grin Love the curves in this building, your mono capture here makes it look better than in the colour link Wink

Sorry my award is a bit late - I meant to give you one when I saw this first time around, but I'd used up my allocation for the day, then, as you do, I forgot about it.

Saw it again today and decided to rectify the omission!

Cheers.
