Molton church window 2

By xwang
I up loaded this image a few days ago... I was suggested to get rid of the yoghurt pots and the round things...I tried to clone off them a few hours ago, but I just couldn't do it! Desperately, I put a 'ghost' there, because I saw the shadow part as some sort of energy..Does it work? Thanks for looking, feel free for MODs.Just for fun. The ghost was actually a figure displayed in Castle Howard.

Spooly Jasmine, for me it works very well indeed.

The original is much better Jasmine. This does work for a spooky effect, but the charm of the original is gone. I didnt notice any comments re pots on the image?

I've enjoyed your uploads from this church in the Main Gallery, the mix of shadows, random dappled light and the strong outlines of the flowers. Plus some strong diagonals and the oblique L-shape frame here on the left.
It doesn't need the manipulation, the ghost. A bit of fun, but it spoils the atmosphere, as Willie says the charm is gone.
Reality is so wonderful and beautiful if we treat it with respect, for me it doesn't need this treatment.

Wow.. how did you do that, Willie? AMAZING!!
I did. But the bottom of the window is impossible... and I had to get the perspective right as well... I spent over an hour or two, I can't remember, long long time...and could bear it any more...I just couldn't get it. Hat off to you, Willie. Thank you so much... I have to try it again, what a challenge. Oh, no, not today...Grin Ah.. that's really a beautiful work, Willie. Thank you very much again.

Thank you Moira for your compliment.
I was bothered about the pots .. but I couldn't do the clone.. Yes, I agree with you both about the original and manipulation. I rarely do manipulation, I was desperate.. Grin

I like the modification, although the yogurt cups do not bother me.

I really do applaud the attempt here, Jas. Just shows how far you have come. I'm not convinced it's entirely successful but, whilst the mod is good, it reverts to a shog of a church window. Seen them before.

Good try and nearly there. I think the ghost needs to be a bit more vague, lighter and just there. It's a bit too well defined.

Thank you very much Paul. It can be done by changing blending option..the second slider, I think. But I agree with what you said:

.. i'm not good at manipulation.. and prefer to take photos..
