After a long hike where we deviated from the normal path (shocking!) my wife and I finally arrived. But before descending down we had our lunch and observed far too many people for our liking roaming around. We ate above the maelstrom and through the marvels of technology sent our vantage point to our children scattered around the world and friends in Utah. I don't like crowds and neither does my wife. We hike not only to see nature but to enjoy the solitude. That being said, we understand because of Covid-19 people NEED to get out with their families and break the boredom of the situation..we get it. The decision was made to go down and see and I'm so glad we did! The last time we visited the lake in July of 2016 we were alone and it had a layer of ice on it! I love hikes like this and will forever treasure our...moments at Cecret Lake.
