Mondays Bride

By lifesnapper
Hi all and a massive thanks for the unexpected response to my 'He's Still Listening' image, very much appreciated Smile
Well this Week is a Week off for us, so we've decided to go places that are right on our Door Step but which we've never visited, and do things we've never done. Yesterday we took the trek to the top of Rochester Castle Keep (Pic's to come soon), and it was well worth the entrance fee. Then just as we where walking back outside, I spotted a Bride & Groom getting ready for a Photo shoot. She looked gorgeous, but the strange thing was, they had no Wedding rings, and there where no guests in sight? Maybe this was a mock up for a Bollywood Film or something, who knows? but at least I was able to rattle off a few snaps during the proceedingsSmile Ju tried to drag me away saying "they don't want you taking pictures John" , well that wasn't going to stop me now was it?Wink
Today we're off to the Chatham Maritime Centre, so hoping to get some pic's there. Only 15 min's down the Road, and never been there.

All the best to all,

John Smile

Yes,must be pics for a magazine or something John.
Or just too tight fisted to have rings or guests perhaps.
Like V1.
Looks like they are bursting a plooky spot on her shoulders !!

Many couples now have their photographs taken days before the wedding so as not to disrupt the proceedings on the day and I think this might be the case here. Ive never seen the fascination of costume drama weddings myself (and I've been married three times) unless you are actually getting paid for taking the photos, something that has never happened to me sadly.

You have some lovely shots here, probably better than the pro ones being taken!

I am married once, for the record, and I still dont understand all the fuss.Blush

This might be a divorce set of shots, seeing theres no rings, - the undoing of a wedding... Grin

Ive been actually chased away when as a wedding guest, I attempted to take a shot of the "pro's" posed shot, - just one!

The good thing is that a casual shot I took is the only one on display in the brides home, and her parents. So there!

Nathan, - these are battlement shots in one way!

The name of the game for wedding photographers when doing close up bride shots is to make sure they retain the fine detail in the headdress.

V1 and V2 viewed here are best described as evil together with that excellent defused background that brings out the best.

Assumed John that you are not the official photographer on this day but you sure walked away with some excellent work that I'm sure the bride will love.

Lovely wedding photos. And, if it was a mock up, I think someone has messed up by forgetting the rings Smile
