Sometimes I've said of images that have been worked with painting or lines filter that they are rather like a Monet.
Apparently this one really does loom like a Monet.

We're usually kept in the dark about most things. Nice to see the public are being kept in the picture there...even if it is still in the dark.

Surreal: somehow this reminds me of Leeds New Market with the light falling on the row of stalls just inside the entrance nearest the Corn Exchange . . .

The spectator looks amazed at what he is viewing, which speaks well for the exhibition. A great mixture of light and shade.

He has a look of L S Lowry and you have caught that sombre look in the light on his face so well Malc. He is probably thinking just add a few matchstick men to this and it'll be reet!
