Monika III

By Alan_Coles
Been playing about in lightroom this evening and following some cropping tips on my mono shot of Monika I have come up with this version in colour...sorry it's the same model/shot but this is deffo fun and with these eyes looking at you all the time it's easy to just keep on !!

Just lightroom, no CS4

Like it a lot. I am a sucker for an "odd" angle and this works perfectly. Good framing and the light is lovely. She is a very good model....
Beautiful portrait. An excellent crop and lovely eye contact.

Now this is the best of the lot Al.

As for the reflection on her forehead, try this.

Pick up the brush tool, and reduce opacity to 20%. Click on her skin near to the highlighted area but do so when the alt key is pressed. This will now select the skin colour near the reflected area. then brush gently over the reflected area and build up slowly with the lowered opacity to blend in the reflection with her skin tones elsewhere.

Hope this helps.

Nice. You can also get her to use a brush and apply some matte non reflective makeup, so you dont have to use youre brush!
