Mono Smile

By lifesnapper
Hi all, and I hope you're enjoying the Christmas break, just not being at work is good enough for me I have to say Smile
Well this picture is another from my 'Alternative V1's' which was rather popular when I uploaded Her in a set, so I thought i'd give it a go as an actual V1.
Thank you all so much for your kind comments and good wishes on my Christmas Cards, and I look forward to the New Year, and sharing it in pictures with you all.
Enjoy the rest of the holiday,

John Smile

Sometimes strange things happen when zooming this closely into a face Ö you will see experienced photographers turning their cameras from the portrait format into landscape - and thatís how this portrait starts to win for me. Love the mono - works a treat.

Oh, this is very good! Great smile, perky composition, excellent black and white conversion with good contrast. If you wanted to change anything, you could smooth her skin a little in post-processing. It just depends what you're aiming for: for a straight portrait, it's perfect as it is.
