Well played exploit of the word "mono" (which means "single" in Greek) with the monochrome conversion. You have framed a single person, displaying a single eye while covering the other one with a single hand. That's a hat trick!

The image underlines the need for providing medical treatment of age related eye problems to the poor people in India.

This is a very deep image, I suppose if she is on a pilgrimage she may be in hope of a cure but she looks in pain. Hard to look at but much harder to live with.
