Hello, Chaitanya. This image in the CG prompted me to have a look at your portfolio, so I now know that you love and rescue reptiles. There are some very good pictures there, but I have to say your backgrounds, natural as they are, could sometimes be better for your subjects to stand out better. Then you present one with a lovely dark background, perfect. I think you could study composition a little more and then, with the advantages you have of closely encountering all these beautiful creatures, you could come up with some stunning studies.
I would put this one into the category of one of your best and can only echo what Graham has said. I like the twisted shadow of the snake upon the branch, and the way you have the snake's head in focus and yet the branch is nicely blurred. I think this may be because the snake has lifted its head above the branch, whereas I at first thought the head was touching the branch. Very effective. Your focus is on the head, with the eye nice and sharp, so not a lot to critique really.
Pamela.
