Monte gardens

Part of the Monte gardens, a cable car ride 2,000 ft above Funchal, Madeira. These gardens are so steep they are built in layers on the hillside. This one features some wonderful tree ferns - I liked being able to photograph them from above as we walked down.

Excellent shot Angela. Taken from a good angle, well exposed with good detail. I love the contrasting red bridge against all the greenery.
