Moody Blues

By almiles
Loch Morlich, shortly after sunset. It all looked so promising when I set off from home but before I arrived the sun fell behind a bank of low cloud which swallowed up all the bright colours there might have been. The wind didn't die down either. This was shot using the 'cloudy' colour temperature setting of my camera. Bit more snow on the hills than earlier in the week and very cold on the lochside.

Very well composed shot and your method has captured all the cool tones so well.
Ronnie.
The long exposure has calmed the surface of the loch and the cloudy setting has added a little warmth to the cold scene.
