Moon Shot with mini-telescope

By brian1208
I have decided that the EM-5 + Tamron SP 500 mirror lens is going to be my chance to play with a bit Astro-photography, starting with the moon.

I haven't a clue what I'm doing so it will be fun learning a new genre but I was quite pleased with this one, shot off a monopod (I know I should be using the tripod for this work but I found it difficult to get the elevation I needed, something else to learn)

This is cropped to 1550 pixels before resizing

Spot on capture. Well timed and exposed.

Damn good that and considering your " lack " of experience!
