More 'Activity' on the Canal

By Peagreen
Another taken yesterday on Leeds Liverpool canal. A Drake and Female Mallard were getting to know each other betterTongueSmile when another two Drakes decided they wanted to join in Wink Unfortunate for the Female (who you can just see the 'tail' end of)as she ended pushed down under the water. Eventually she got free and swam away with her 'Man'Smile All's well that ends well ( for then at least!!) Cropped and framed on picnik.

Thank you for your c&cs on 'In Hot Pursuit' and for your time. It all means a lot to me Smile
Take care,
Pauline

Good evening Pauline you really have captured the action so well, excellent colours and I really like the way you have captured the water splashes.

Take care

'Great shot of the three colorful Mallards, frolicking,' Pauline. That is 'what happens when you fight over a lady.' Smile Have a wonderful Weekend.

An excellent action shot Pauline, it looks like these three drakes are having a real scrap. I saw a pair going at it hammer and tongs at Lower Slaughter the other week, feathers certainly flew!
