As I am a big softie Malc,
I shall go with the one that has received less punishment !!
Good graphic shot with the lines here.

I think this takes the harsh treatment very well. It certainly "zings".

I'll go for V1, it's that bit gentler on the eyes.

Give me the punishment! It suits the style of architecture.

Let the punishment fit the crime I say. Good stuff Malcolm.

Imperfect symmetry contributes to the sci-fi atmosphere, aided by the hi-tec security cameras beneath the bridge. There is a lot of absorbing detail to be seen; I prefer V2 for the clearer view of the trees that contrast so greatly with the architecture.

'v2 receives my top accolades, today,' Malc, on this superb monochrome Image. Stay Well.

Hard to choose, but both are great conversions-- like all the shiny parts!

I'm in for the V2 version the added contrast is so much better. It was good in V1 and better in V2.

V2 for me too. Is it an optical illusion or are those two main pillars leaning outwards? Love this - so many interesting lines.

Great viewpoint and capture, Malc, the subject certainly suits the mono treatment. Like both versions, but if I had to choose, V1 for me, I think Wink

Good image with a lot of impact. I like the effect that the extra punishment has on the foreground areas, but it seems to have complicated the right-hand window in V2.

Very interesting shot Malc - both good but I think the slightly softer feel of V1 edges it for me.

I am going to be controversial in saying that the more natural look of V 1 is my preference, Malc.
It's one of those images taken from an interesting viewpoint that makes one stop and study it for a while just to get one's bearings.
The B and W presentation is excellent, and whilst the higher contrast of V 2 shows up certain features more clearly, I am still going to settle for V 1.

An impressive architectural image, terrific composition and perspective. V2 works best for me, it is much sharper and the lines and angles are stronger
