More Nathan Effects

By LynneJoyce
Having created this presentation technique inspired by Nathan as in my last post, I was on a roll and decided to experiment with images other than woodland. (This is where insomnia comes in handy). So I searched for images with strong directional lines in them, then just tried it with images where I thought it might work. Here is a selection of 15 of them. It paid off for me because I was able to complete my 2019 calendar using a selection of twelve images, each one appropriate to one of the months.

I have chosen the opener because I think it makes the strongest thumbnail. Much as I like it, it is not my favourite. I will leave you to guess which one is and to choose favourites of your own if you have any.

Thank you for viewing and I hope that you like at least some of these.

Another excellent set. My vote is number 7, though 9 is a strong contender if the vignette was in the lower left corner. Somehow, for me the chimney intersecting with its blurred twin jars slightly. In the meantime, I've been following your guidelines and I confirm, these modifications can become addictive.

I like the colour range in V11, in V3 you were quick to get mid pounce pose!

Another super collection here Lynne - has to merit another UA from me! 🏆 Such a varied collection and hard to choose a fave (I do like that clock though in Leeds market). I don't suppose your fave is V3, featuring Ansel, by any chance?! 🐕👍
