v1 a lot stronger in mono. A quality bit of light in that top left valley. v3 worth an appearance on its own. You got these on just in time for a 'white rose', Jeremy GrinGrin

Four excellent images. The mono one works best for me too. Nice one Jeremy

A most impressive mono but with light like that the coloured versions do deserve their own slots.
We often see a scene like this but capturing to perfection is another matter - 'the old goat' in you did well!

I both like V1 and V2 best...cannot make up my mind. Wink The horizontal frames seem a little more balanced to me, don't know why...
V1: I like the contrast of the light stones against the darkness being mirrored in the distance with the hills against the sky.
V2: Just this warm glow makes you smile... Smile

All outstanding with V1 being particularly strong but for sheer wow factor, I keep coming back to V3 which has superb light and compelling composition - gets my badge (cheaper than a pint Grin )

Jeremy, your choice to go with mono on this is spot on mate, the colour image is processed to your usual high standard, but in mon you brought the lighting to life and the contrast in the rock formation is strong and detailed, but for me the lighting on the hillside is so lovely......first class mate.

Excellent V1 or 2 for me Jeremy. Love the distant pool of light on the left that looks like it could have been investigated further by swinging the camera to the left....................unless there was a toilet block you were trying to avoid....Wink

That's magnificent in any version, especially the first three but the mono contrast really brings out the rocks and their jagged nature.
