Morning stroll

By eviemay
Taken from the bird hide at Stocks reservoir - this is a big departure from my normal subject matter. One of five female pheasants about to take advantage of the seeds dropping from the many feeders that have been hung close to the hide. I have great admiration for all the dedicated bird photographers who sit patiently waiting for the right moment. This morning it was -5 centigrade and my hands felt like they were going to fall off!!
