Iconic...

Black and white is true to the period, but the colour version is sensual.

Wonderful to see, Keith.
My first 4-wheeled vehicle was a 1956 split window ex-GPO Morris 100 Van.
Great memories, thank you!!

I wonder if the colour version is an original factory colour?

On a Sunday drive, we were sure to see at least one Morris Minor keeled over with a front wheel tilted outwards due to not lubricating that front steering joint.

Well, this has put smiles on a few faces! I like both equally for the same reason as Dudler but there is something compelling about the colour version perhaps because the colours seem a tad muted which, for me, works perfectly. The different coloured pumps provide added interest!

I learnt to drive in a pale blue 1967 Morris 1000 traveller, with the wooden side trims, a great car...unless you needed to change the brake master cylinder which was a nightmare to do! And as said above, unless lubricated, the front wheels used to fall outwards!!!

A Moggie! As we used to call them. Used to love the look of the Traveller version with the real wood detail.

Even though I would normally go for the b&w version, as John D. says, true to the era, the muted tones of the colour original do actually appeal more...

I'll add - I'm pretty sure the oclour wasn't a standard one for any Morris of that era. A slightly later Triumph tint, I suspect, and adopted by hte garage, maybe, as their livery?
