Its a nice candid moment youve caught here. The good thing about candid is you can get an unguarded natural moment like this, and sometimes the negative is that you get one quick chance for the shot.
It appears a little too dark to me, - Im sure the lighting conditions werent great either, and theres a section of table at the bottom taht would be better removed.
Ive loaded a brighter mod using a levels adjustment, cropped some off the bottom and top, and Ive softened some areas that looked a little harsh or oversharpened, especially the mothers hair.

Cracking first shot, you've caught the mood perfectly; loving mother and child, simple composition, blurred background which doesn't distract away from the main focus of the photo. Willie has done a great job on the faces, and this works really well. I'd have preferred to leave some more contrast in the mod, perhaps in the clothing, which I think looked better in the original and could have just been lightened just slightly for the mod. Either way the mono version is a perfect way to show candid portraits off to the full.

Hello, Matyn. I can't help loving this image, such a beautiful moment captured, the child with her eyes closed as the mother kisses her, beautiful. Did a quick mod with the background cleaned up.

Hi Mart. Lightened the faces a tad but left clothing for contrast and mood. A minor tweak to the background at the top of the photo and cropped to lose the foreground. Hope you like it. Bryan
