Impressive structure and stands out well against the blue sky.

A very unusual structure, but a quite beautiful organic form. The colour variant certainly draws the eye.

when I was a child (many years ago... Sad), this structure was the sign that we were close to home, coming back from the alps.
now that I'm the driver, I barely notice it.
prefer the color version for the contrast between red and blue

thanks, Darryl...and everyone else...surprising what you do and see when you're `bored'...we were waiting to get back on the tour coach, trying to avoid getting mown down by passing traffic!!. I now get into the habit of looking back, down and up and the blue sky certainly helps here...I like architecture to be both practical and/or make a statement...this worked for me Smile

Interesting bits of architecture with a pure blue sky as a bg is always a good bet, Jeff. Prefer the colour version, better contrasts. Perhaps a stronger contrast on the b/w one?
