Hmmm - perhaps a motto, or a New Years resolution? Several reasons for this post....not least that this is taken with my new toy! My back is not handling taking the Canon everywhere, so after much research I have bought a Lumix TZ8 for everyday use. I have been thinking of starting a 365 project as well, so another reason to have a camera with me at all times...

It came today....Of course, by the time I had got home and had a chance to open the box, I was itching to have a play. Hence this photo. Bit of fiddling in PSPX2 with the toning. I have to say, I am impressed with the quality of the camera so far...although no RAW is slightly weird! Time will tell.

Thanks for looking..all comments welcomed...

I made a recent comment Lucy how I think some ''compacts'' have at last reached SLR quality. I am certainly delighted with my G11.
And yes,it certainly is a bonus for a lack off backache !!
Good shot.

I'm dispensing with my heaviest DSLR and my heaviest compact but will still have far too much to carry. I like the 365 idea but would have to post most of them as V2s. So many decisions Smile
I like the toning here in particular, it suits the motto which reminds me of WW2 slogans.

Does give a sense of that wartime attitude that doesn't seem around too much today (not that I'm old enough to remember!)
A definite slogan for the minute with the ephotozine upgrade Smile
