Mountain, storm

Following on directly from Mountain, lake , this is the first in a series of "mountainscapes" employing a layering technique developed from studying the work of Valda Bailey , and presented as a tribute to her astonishing creativity.

This looks like being an exciting series to look forward to, if this first offering is anything to judge by.
Bailey certainly does seem to be empowered with an extraordinary imagination.
I would be interested to know which layering techniques you have used...

That really is a beautiful image, Alan. A very effective minimalism, with the introduction of a touch of colour; a picture that could easily been seen in a gallery. I hadn't heard of Valda Bailey, so thank you for the link.
