Moving Right Along...

By SoupyD
When in the center of Cardiff the other day with my friend and her kids, I saw this shuttered shop...I thought it made for an interesting image with one of her boys walking in front of it...who I duplicated in psp. Just experimenting really...

Would love to know what you all think Smile As always, thanks for all the kind comments and suggestions on my previous pics...They are all appreciated Smile

Thanks for that...The font is used deliberately; in the full sized pic, there is some graffitti on the shutters, and I wanted to reflect that...then I went and cropped it out...duh!

Note to self...Must think before I post!

Like the positioning of the figure......I think that fact that you have used only half the figure at each end is what makes the repetition work so well.

It looks like an invasion of the clones! Strange but interesting effect.

Thanks for your comments Helen, Patrick, and TheImagePoint...they are really appreciated.

@Helen...I was toying with many repetitions, fade in's, ghostly apparitions, etc...I thought this was the better option...clean and to the point...

@Patrick...Could have been far far worse with that invasion...

@The...I was trying for different....being a new member of this site, I have not had the opportunity to view anyone elses work in any great detail, so I cannot say for sure...I guess I am striving for my own voice...hopefully it is working...

I like the abused shutters as a background to this manipulation. As his mother I can only say thank god that there is only one of him in reality!
