Mr Attitude.

By Mollycat
Not the easiest to capture with its beak hammering into the grass looking for grubs. This green woodpecker only looked up when some pigeons landed by.

Thank you for looking in and commenting on the ' Sniper ' yesterday. With special thanks to Gareth, Trev, Jukka, Ray and Fred (BadgerFred) for their valued UA's.

Once had the pleasure of watching a mother bird just like this teaching her chick to feed itself on a neighbours lawn. Beautiful capture Peter, thanks for the memory.

Well captured Peter, they are difficult to photograph, they as so intent in getting the ants and grubs out of the ground, they rarely look up long enough for a shot. Pam
Super capture Peter, not the easiest birds to catch with the camera!!

Excellent birding again , Peter ! - Canīt stop wondering how you get those excellent bird pics with so short F - 122 in this case . I always need F 500 or 600 at least. - So very well done , Peter ! SmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmile --- Jukka.
