Mr Mc Gregor's Garden

I was in Cumbria at the weekend staying in Carlisle, on the way home yesterday we visited Hill Top, a NT owned property in Near Sawrey, near Hawkshead in the Lake District. This was once the home of Beatrix Potter which she bought from the proceeds of her Childrens books. On marriage at the age of 46 she moved to Castle Cottage just across the way from here.
