Mugged, call the Old Bill!

By Drighlynne
Life on any breeding ground can be hard for any bird, but the poor old puffins are being constantly 'mugged' by the black headed gulls for their sand eels. I was lucky, I managed to get this set of shots ozone such 'mugging'.
Once again, best viewed large.

Many thanks for all your votes and comments on yesterday's upload, 'Mum's looking after me' and special thanks to Peter (ddolfelin) and Sylvia (Sylviwhalley) for their super UA's.

Just typical of bl***y seagulls! Anything for an easy meal... Tongue Herring gulls tend to prefer what we humans eat - battered fish & chips, sandwiches, ice cream... Smile
