Mule Deer Zion National Park Utah

By IainHamer
This Mule deer was in the parking lot of the Zion National Park visitor centre when we got off the shuttle bus from having a trip right to the top of the wonderful canyon in Utah. It seemed to be more interested in it's food than the several people standing staring at it and clicking away with their cameras and phones.
The mule deer is a deer indigenous to western North America; it is named for its ears, which are large like those of the mule. The several subspecies include the black-tailed deer
