Mullach Mor-interpret that

By Tooth
From the wonderfully mad Doolin meet - after indulging in tea and scones in the Father Ted house we went round the corner to the turlough in front of Mullach Mor. A turlough is a "disappearing lake" fed not by rivers but by underfround springs in the porous limestone rock.

There was a long and bitter legal battle which prevented the building of an "interpretive centre" in the hillside of Mullach Mor - well, IMO, there's only one way to interpret it, and that's being there and experiencing it

Thanks for looking, all comments and critique welcome as always

Stephen

A "must view large" image Stephen. The geology, light and reflections are excellently presented.

Beautiful Stephen, love the crop you have chosen, it suits the image so well. It was a lovely place, so tranquil, and no sign of Goggz imitating a heron!
