Mushroom 5

By flowerpower59
Thank you those who appreciated my last upload. I am grateful.

Among the many issues photographing mushrooms is the changing light while the focus stack is being shot. Here 25 shots. Even in that short time, the sun moves, clouds can pass over it and the leaves above move in the slightest breeze, all of which affect and alter the bokeh. This is a problem when it comes to processing the stack afterwards. The software is confused and in some cases results in a nasty mess. So, for this one, I chose the background from just one shot and "painted" it behind the stacked subjects.

I thought I might be able to identify these given the strong orange on the top. Even with 2 books (thanks Janet), I can't find them Sad

Excellent shot and really well stacked and processed. I know the problems with the light changing every few seconds but sometimes it can add a new dimension to the final image.
